Osho says, “The ego lives in the tension between what you are and what you want to be.” In this second episode, Megan & Leilah dive deeper into topics surrounding what ego really means and how it affects our daily lives. The ego works to protect our dignity and to keep us comfortable not to make us truly happy. In this conversation we find out that essentially true happiness is the death of the ego. That we can gradually move from identifying with the ego to identifying with the soul the more we take part in our spiritual practices and meditations. Because when we spend time in stillness with ourselves we can show up as our fullest self in all aspects of our lives.
